On the hottest weekends of the summer the Chain Bridge, one of the symbols of Budapest, will once again be the domain of strollers, the curious, fun-lovers, shoppers and above all, the arts.

Each weekend we have different surprises and programmes in store for children and adults already in the mornings: there will be fire jugglers, devil stick jugglers, clay whistlers, musicians, dancers and street artists.

You can rest at the stands serving cold drinks, gastronomic specialties, chimney cakes (kürtöskalács), bread dough (töki pompos) and ice-cream. Strolling across the bridge from Pest to Buda or from Buda to Pest you can browse the products of Hungarian craftsmen and folk artists and buy anything that catches your fancy.

You can hire a modern bike to explore further afield and then return to mingle in the bustle of the fair, relax, enjoy a concert, in short, simply to be free in the heart of the city.
